AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting a Specific Use Pe1mit (SUP) for an approximate 0.46-acre tract of the M. Smith Survey, Abstract #504, addressed as 901 E. Hwy 377, within the City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, and located in the Light Commercial [LC] zoning district to allow the operation of a "Animal Processing" business as defined by Article 12 of the City of Granbury Zoning Ordinance and in the tenant space as depicted in Exhibit 'A'; and, The Specific Use Permit (SUP) shall be issued to allow for "Animal Processing", as defined by the City of Granbury Zoning Ordinance under the following terms and conditions: a) The Specific Use Permit shall automatically expire 3 years from City Council approval (expires November 3, 2023) SECTION 6. Any person, film or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is pe1mitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
