ORDINANCE NO. 18-34

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 17-41 AND 17-42, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting a Specific Use Permit for a 'Daily Outdoor Display' and the placement of one (1) cargo container on a 5.66 acre tract of land contained platted as Lot 6R-1, Block 2 of the Lupton Ranch Addition, addressed as 3906 E. Hwy. 377, Ste. 114, City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, located within a 'LC' Light Commercial zoned district, and being more fully described as: 5.66 acre tract of land platted as Lot 6R-1, Block 2 of the Lupton Ranch Addition, addressed as 3906 E. Hwy. 377, Ste. 114, City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, and located within the 'LC' Light Commercial zoned district, with a Specific Use Permit (SUP) to allow for 'Daily Outdoor Display' and placement of one (1) 'Cargo Container' as defined by the City of Granbury Zoning Ordinance and as depicted on the attached site plan and in accordance with the following terms and conditions: 1. The outdoor display of products offered for sale at the designated locations along the store-front as presented with the following conditions: a. The placement or merchandise, equipment and goods will be located in a manner as to not block or impede pedestrian or emergency ingress and egress to the store or necessary equipment, and; 2. The Cargo Container with the following conditions: a. The length of the container shall not exceed 41 lineal feet, b. The color of the container shall match the exterior of the building/store, and; c. The term of the placement of the container shall be for (1) one year after which the allowance for placement shall become null and void. SECTION 6. Any person, firm or corporation, who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
