AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 17-41 AND 17-42, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting a Specific Use Permit (SUP) on the property located on an approximate 1.2 acre portion of land described as Lot 10R of the Granbury East Addition, located at 2003 E. Hwy. 377, within the City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, and being more fully described as: An approximate 1.2 acre described as Lot 10R in the Granbury East Addition, Hood County, City of Granbury, Texas located at 2003 E. Hwy. 377 in a Heavy Commercial (HC) zoning district. The Specific Use Permit (SUP) shall be issued to allow for the sale of new autos by right in this zoning district (HC) and used autos which includes light load vehicles by definition in the zoning ordinance. a. The Specific Use Permit shall automatically expire 3 year from City Council approval (June 5, 2021), and; SECTION 6. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
