The City of Tolar will conduct a Close Out Public Hearing to discuss the activities accomplished during the implementation of a Texas Department of Agriculture Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG)-funded Water Improvements with first time service connection Project under Contract No. 713461. At the Hearing the actual accomplishments of the grant funded activities will be discussed including drilling of new municipal water well, installation of new water pipeline and the installation of a new first time service water connection.
In addition the City's participation in Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity will be discussed. At this time the City of Tolar will also present information regarding the National Fair Housing Act and will discuss ways to implement Fair Housing within the City.
The Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, the 19th day of November, 2015 at 5:05 PM at the City of Tolar City Hall, which is located at 8712 W. Hwy 377 in Tolar, Texas. All citizens and interested parties are encouraged to attend. Interested citizens who are not able to attend the Public Hearing may submit their written comments to Mayor Terry Johnson, at City Hall, PO Box 100, Tolar, TX 76476.

Individuals who require a translator, auxiliary aids or services for this meeting should contact Joyce Johnson, City Secretary, at City Hall by calling 254/835-4390 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Citizens requiring assistance must make contact at least two (2) days before the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
