Brazos Electric Power Cooperative is proposing to construct a new communication tower at the site of the Hill City substation at 9172 Hill City Highway, Tolar, Texas, 76476. The proposed lattice communication tower would be 120 feet in height and a 12-foot lightning rod would be mounted at the top of the tower, for a total height of 132 feet. The tower is designed to accommodate the installation of antennas at elevations of 94, 100 and 106 feet above ground level. The tower would be enclosed within a chain-link fence with gated access.
