NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

In compliance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, Parker County Emergency Services District No.6 will hold a Public Hearing and Special Meeting on the Petition for Inclusion of Defined Territory in Parker County Emergency Services District No.6, per the petition filed with the District on November 15, 2016. The public is invited to speak. The proposed Defined Territory to be annexed, commonly known as the "Cresson, Texas Extra Territorial Jurisdiction," is described as: Cresson, Texas Extra Territorial Jurisdiction that lies within Parker county located in the southeast corner of Parker County. A map of the Defined Territory is available at the District's office, 6300 Granbury Highway, Weatherford, Texas 76087. The Public Hearing and Special Meeting will be held on January 17, 2017 at Cresson City Hall, 8901 East Highway 377 Granbury, Texas 76035 at 6:30 p.m., with the following agenda items: 1. Call to Order and Establish Quorum. 2. Public Hearing on annexation of Defined Territory into Parker County Emergency Services District No. 6 pursuant to Section 775.051, Texas Health & Safety Code, and other applicable law. 3. Discussion and action on ordering an election to be held on May 06, 2017 on the issues of "Adding Cresson, Texas Extra Territorial Jurisdiction located within Parker County to the Parker County Emergency Services District No.6," and "The Cresson, Texas Extra Territorial Jurisdiction located within Parker County assuming its proportionate share of the outstanding debts and taxes of the Parker County Emergency Services District No. 6, if it is added to the district; " Authorizing the appropriate District officers and officials, including the District's attorney, to take all actions necessary to effect said election and to contract with necessary authorities, including the Parker County Elections Administrator, for same. 4. Adjourn.
