The Transit System,Inc.is excepting bids on COVID barriers for 12 cutaway buses and 4 Transit Works van. Design must be a hinge design with little to no modification to the vehicle. The barrier should be clear plexiglass or a more superior product, must meet FMVSS 205 requirements. Must meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 302 (FMVSS 302} which specifies the burn resistance requirements for materials used in the occupant compartments of motor vehicles. Please specify if bid includes cost of installation. Bidders can schedule an appointment to view vehicles with Linda McArthur on 12/29/2020. Cutoff date for bids is 12/31/20. Bids can be dropped off at 401Commerce St.,Glen Rose, Texas 76043. Successful bidder will need to be prepared to ship kits or install the barriers within 2 weeks of being notified of a successful bid.
