AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting a Specific Use Permit (SUP) to allow for the operation of a Truck Parking Lot, Heavy Load Vehicles on the property located on an approximate 4.515 acre portion of land described as Lots 7-13 of the G.O. Addition, located at 5901 E Hwy 377, within the City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, and being more fully described as: An approximate 4.515 acre portion of land described as Lots 7-13 of the G.O. Addition, located at 5901 E Hwy 377, within the City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, and located within the Heavy Commercial "HC" zoned district. The Specific Use Permit (SUP) shall be issued to allow for the operation of a Truck Parking Lot, Heavy Load Vehicles facility under the following terms and conditions: d) The Specific Use Permit shall automatically expire 5 years from City Council approval, and; e) All outdoor lighting, including parking lot lighting, shall be directed away from any property zoned or developed for residential uses. f) Truck parking is permitted on Lots 11-13 per the submitted site plan. SECTION 6. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
