TWDB CWSRF Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1 Improvements Crossland Heavy Contractors (CHC) IS SEEKING BIDS FROM QUALIFIED SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS (M/WBE FIRMS ENCOURAGED) FOR SCOPES OF WORK INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Temporary Erosion Control, SWPP, Clearing & Grubbing, Fencing, Trucking, Construction Signage, Striping & Marking, Select Fill, Aggregates, Seeding and Hydromulching, Surveying, Concrete, Rebar, Masonry, PEMB's, Doors-Frames-Hardware, Wood Framing, Drywall, Insulation, Paint, Flooring, Fire Extinguishers, Toilet Accessories, Misc. Metals, Paving, Millwork, Cabinets, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical and Instrumentation, Excavation and Backfill. The overall project generally includes construction of a new 0.93 MGD sequencing batch reactor (SBR) system, construction of a new chlorine contact basin, repurposing of existing structures and construction of a new operations building. All questions should be directed to Joe Eschbacher jesch@crossland.com by 2:00pm on Monday, September 14th, 2020. Bids will be accepted until 2:00p.m. local time on Monday, September 21st, 2020. Bids shall be submitted to Crossland Heavy Contractors, 861 N Coleman St., Prosper, TX, 75078 or electronically to jesch@crossland.com. CHC hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements apply. This project is subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements. This contract is subject to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, which includes EPA-approved fair share goals toward procurement of Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) businesses. EPA rules require that applicants and prime contractors make a good faith effort to award a fair share of contracts, subcontracts, and procurements to M/WBEs through demonstration of the six affirmative steps.
