The FEMA Region 6, Regional Administrator announces a Public Meeting for the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant (CPNPP) biennial evaluated exercise. The exercise will be conducted in Hood and Somervell counties on November 6, 2019 in conjunction with the following agencies: the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), Radiation Control Program; the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM); The Texas Department of Public Safety; and both Hood and Somervell County Emergency Responders. The FEMA Regional Assistance Committee (RAC) Chair will invite representatives of participating Offsite Response Organizations (OROs), the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and other Federal agencies to a meeting at the Squaw Valley Golf Course Banquet Room, 2439 E. Hwy 67, Glen Rose, Texas 76043, at 10:30 a.m. on November 7, 2019. Members of the public and the media are invited to attend this meeting.
