The City of Granbury will receive bids for 2018 TCDP Lift Station #1 Improvements project until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Granbury Service Center, 401 N Park St., Granbury, Texas 76048, at which time the Bids received will be publically opended and read aloud. Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 1. Rehabilitation/retrofit of existing sewage lift station, including removal of existing equipment, installation of new submersible sewage pumps and control panel, guide rail assemblies, level control system, valve vault, wet well modifications with coating system, electrical, site piping, and by-pass pumping as required during construction and other miscellaneous items. The Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications may be obtained from Civcast at www.civcastusa.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents, Drawings and Technical Specificaitons at the Engineer's Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and the City of Granbury's office, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Granbury or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. The Lobbying Certification must be submitted with the Bid Packet to be considered complete and responsive. The City of Granbury reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Granbury for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
