AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-819, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRANBURY, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GRANBURY; REVISING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 01-819, as amended, is hereby amended by granting a Specific Use Permit (SUP) on the property located at 735 E. Hwy. 377, and being more fully described as: A 23.83 acre of land platted as Lot 1A, Block 1 of the Durham Overstreet Addition and addressed as 735 E. Hwy 377, in the City of Granbury, Hood County, Texas, located in the 'LC' Light Commercial district to allow for the placement of cargo containers on-site as shown in the attached Exhibit 'A' under the following terms and conditions: The Specific Use Permit (SUP) shall be issued to allow for the use of no more than twenty-five (25) cargo containers for the months of October through February under the following terms and conditions: 1. With the condition that the containers be uniform in size, color (preferably tan) and overall general appearance; 2. Allows for the use of twenty-five (25) cargo containers for peak retail storage build-up for the months of October through February only; 3. The location of the containers will be required to be placed as shown on the applicants site plan, and not encumber any Fire/EMS maneuvering areas or lanes, and; 4. The SUP will be valid for a three (3) year period from the date of issuance. SECTION 6. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. This ordinance is on file in the Office of the City Secretary, 116 W Bridge St and can be seen in its entirety Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
