The following Public Hearings will be considered by the PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION of the City of Granbury on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. The Public Hearings will also be considered by the GRANBURY CITY COUNCIL on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. All Public Hearings will be held within the Council Chambers of Granbury City Hall, 116 W. Bridge Street, Granbury, Texas. 1. PL-2018-10, Request of N/C Investment Group to Final Plat a 17.007 acre tract of the Milam County School Land Survey, Abstract # 348 as Lots 1 & 2, Block 1, Lake Villas Addition. The property is located on the east side of E Loop 567, just north of the railroad tracks. 2. Z-2018-06, Request of Gran Development, LLC to rezone Lot 1, Block 1, Stanton Heights from Multiple-Family (MF) to Townhome (TH). The property is located at the southeast corner of Paluxy Hwy and Meadows Drive. 3. PL-2018-14, Request of Gran Development, LLC to Replat Lot 1, Block 1, Stanton Heights as Lots 1R1-1R22, Block 1; and Common Areas 1-3, Stanton Heights. The property is located at the southeast corner of Paluxy Hwy and Meadows Drive. 4. PL-2018-13, Request of Gary Plante to Replat Lot 3R of the Granbury Village Addition as Lots 3R1 & 3R2 of the Granbury Village Addition. The property is located on Acton Hwy, north of Tom Cox Rd. 5. SP-2018-01, Request of Norway Properties, LLC for approval of a Site Plan for a 168 unit multi-family apartment complex situated on approximately 9.42 acres of land situated in the Milam County School land Survey, Abstract #348 and located west of the intersection of Meadows Drive and Autumn Ridge Dr. 6. The property is located at 1400 Weatherford Hwy, directly south of All Seasons Self Storage. 12. SUP-2018-13, Request of Vicki Nivens for a Specific Use Permit to allow the operation of a 3 guest suite, hosted Bed & Breakfast. The property is addressed as 606 E. Bridge St. 13. SUP-2018-14, Request of Robert Fiester for a Specific Use Permit to allow the operation of a convenience store with gas pumps in a Light Commercial [LC] zoning district. The property is located on the northeast corner of Pirate Dr. and W. Hwy. 377. 14. PL-2018-21, Request of Granbury Church of Christ to Preliminary Plat a 4.974 acre tract of the Milam County School Land Survey, Abstract # 348 as Lots 1-2, Block 1 of the Gateway Granbury Addition. The property is located on the northeast corner of Pirate Dr. and W. Hwy. 377. 15. V-2018-01, Request of CJB Development for a Variance to the City of Granbury Subdivision Ordinance Section 5.6.B to allow the release of more than 10% of the newly subdivided parcel or parcels of land for building permits. SUP-2018-15, Request of Billy Wiley with Holly Hills Cemetery for a Specific Use Permit to allow for the intensification of an existing cemetery in an Interim Holding Zoning District. The applicant proposes to construct a secondary structure as an accessory use to the cemetery. The property is located at 1909 Weatherford Hwy. 17. O-2018-04, Request of the City of Granbury to amend Ordinance # 01-819, the City of Granbury Zoning Ordinance, pertaining to the following sections: (1) Section 4.1.A - "Use Table" to create a new use classification of "Contractor's Shop with Outside Storage", "Contractors Shop without Outside Storage and "Printing or Reprographic Shop"; (2) Section 4.1.A - "Use Table" to delete existing use classification for "Plumbing Shop and Related Services"; (3) Article 12, Section 12.3.A - "Land Use Definitions" to add definitions for "Contractor's Shop with Outside Storage" and "Contractors Shop without Outside Storage; (4) Article 7 - Sign Corridor Map; and, (5) Article 8, Section 8.3.C - Landscape Corridor Map. 18. O-2018-05, Request of the City of Granbury to amend Ordinance # 09-360, the City of Granbury Subdivision Ordinance, pertaining to the following sections: (1) Section 2.4.J to modify the term limit for preliminary plats and to provide written regulations pertaining to administrative approval procedures; (2) Section 2.5.A to add language to clarify the section; (3) Section 4.12 to modify the site selection/characteristics for park land dedication requirements; and, (4) Section 4.12.E.4 to clarify fee payments in lieu of parkland dedication are applicable to all record plats (i.e., final plats, replats, or amending plats).
